1942-54 Packard Dropped Uprights
Just when you think that Fatman's has fabricated new dropped uprights for every single car in existence, they come up with yet another to make even more people happy. This time it's the 1942-54 Packards! The very popular 1942-’54 Packard cars came from the factory with original independent front suspensions. These can be rebuilt, and improved with Fatman’s line of dropped uprights. The new uprights drop the car 2-½ inches, giving the car a shave and a haircut without major surgery. Original steering arms must bent down to match the drop in order to preserve correct steering geometry. Being a very strong yet slender forged part, this is easily done on the car. 1952-1964 Ford Full-Sized Power Steering Conversion
Borgeson Universal has now developed and is producing an integral power steering conversion box for the 1952-1956 and 1957-1964 Ford full size cars. This conversion box is a re-manufactured modern quick ratio power steering gearbox that has undergone extensive modifications to be a direct bolt in for 1952-1964 cars. The Borgeson conversion box will fit with NO modifications to the shock tower or frame is a direct bolt in to the factory mounting location and includes a pitman arm to connect directly to the stock steering linkage. This power steering conversion box is longer than the stock box and will require the steering column to be shortened approximately 3” for clearance. Saginaw P/S Pump Upgrade for 292/312 Ford Y-Block
Borgeson has now developed and is producing a Saginaw power steering pump upgrade for the Ford 292 & 312 Y-Block 8 cylinder engines. The Borgeson Saginaw power steering pump kit includes the P/S pump, custom bracket and pulley needed for installation. This simple upgrade will provide ample flow and pressure for modern power steering boxes and racks and put the worries of that tired noisy pump behind you. High Strength Stainless Castle Nuts

Stainless high strength slotted tall nuts (commonly referred to as castle nuts) are now available from Totally Stainless. One of the few chassis/suspension components that were not available in the past are now yours for the asking. The bottom of these nuts are machined to match the height you need, so each order is custom fit to your specific application as well as a wide range of OEM replacement applications. When ordering state the size (7/16-20, ½-20, 9/16-18, 5/8-18 or metric) and specify the height from the bottom of the nut to the bottom of the slots.
